Been reading this for a looooong time and while the new style is impressive in it's own right, it's just not what I associate with CoZ.

Looks like that's what will end up happening, which I like as well. Gives the two series distinct feels, and since they are going to have completely seperate storylines it's probably better that they are drawn different too.

These results are definitely interesting. I'll keep them in the old style on the site for now. As time goes on, though, my ability to use the better drawings will allow for visual jokes and facial expressions not possible with the old style.

The new look is too detailed and you lose the brilliant and subtle facial expressions that make you such a master comic writer.

I like the new look a lot, but I didn't mind the old look. I think CoZ goes beyond the words (hey, I like slapstick as well as puns, so word and visual humour works for me!) The new look is potentially more expressive with more room for visual gags.

I don't know why but I find the extra detail detracting. I think Vyper might have it.

I agree, the jokes are what does it for me, but I do like the new art. Keep pushing it, Derek... people fear change, but after awhile they'll have gotten used to it.

This only took me about 3.5 hours instead of the usual 1-2, so I could probably get to the point of doing all CoZ comics this way within a few months.

I reset the link so people shouldn't be having a problem reading the font anymore.
